A beautiful wine-cask limited edition release from the highly regarded GlenAllachie distillery in Speyside.

This 2012 single vintage dram began its maturation in Bourbon barrels, before being transferred to a group of specially selected wine barriques from the best wine regions in the world: Languedoc, Valpolicella, and the finest chateaux in Bordeaux. In total, this whisky was aged for 9 years.

The result is a wonderfully rich and complex single malt, offering notes of floral honey, cinnamon, cloves, vanilla, dark chocolate, toasted malt, raisins, fresh fruit buns, gingerbread, pistachio cream, flamed orange rind, almonds, wine-soaked oak and a touch of peppery heat.

Bottled without chill filtration, this a lush, full bodied dram.
