A richly sherried whisky from the GlenAllachie distillery, which was revived by whisky master Billy Walker back in 2018.

This dram has been aged for 8 years in a combination of sherry casks (Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso puncheons), alongside virgin oak casks and red wine barrels, to produce a well rounded and multifaceted whisky.

GlenAllachie 8 offers notes of fruit cake, ginger powder, raisins, toasted nuts, honey on fruit loaf, sultanas, espresso, cocoa powder, dark oak, dried flowers, vanilla and cornbread.

Bottled at 46% ABV, this is a medium bodied, satisfying dram.
