This whisky, the product of three Madeira casks, has been bottled as part of Ballechin’s Straight From The Cask range.

Fifteen years of maturation in Madeira casks has lent a wonderful fruity sweetness to the peated spirit, bringing notes of sweet white grapes, apples, plums, raisins, thick peat smoke, toffee, charred pineapple and peaches, heather honey, vanilla custard, gooseberry, leather, cinnamon and wood smoke.

Smoky, spicy and sweet – this is a top notch offering.

Bottled at 57.5% and without chill filtration, this is a full bodied and rich whisky.
