A lovely little bottling from the recently revived Glenallachie Distillery (taken over by Billy Walker of GlenDronach and BenRiach fame in late 2017).

This is a light approachable whisky, which has largely been matured in American oak casks.

Drinkers should expect notes of warm malt, crisp apples, honey, vanilla, cream, silky fudge, marmalade, peaches, biscuits and custard.

For the first time, official bottlings of Glenallachie whisky will be readily available, and the basis of this offering, we should expect great things!
