One of the best looking ranges of whisky we’ve ever seen here at Fine Drams, Edradour’s Ibisco Decanter bears all the hallmarks of Signatory’s superb production. This is another excellent addition to this series, a beautiful single Sherry cask (number 1419) matured Edradour distilled on the 28th of August 2002 and bottled on the 24th of March 2017, having aged for 14 years. The whisky itself is richly flavoured with notes of chocolate covered raisins, toffee, and a slight menthol note that accompanies the classic Edradour notes of malty caramel. Only 690 bottles of this delicious stuff were created, meaning that stocks are highly limited. Another superb offering from one of Scotland’s smallest distilleries.
