Another cracking sherry cask Edradour bottling from Signatory Vintage. Signatory of course own the tiny Highland distillery, so have their pick of the very best casks.
This is one such cask, a delightfully active sherry cask that was filled on the 11th of November 2009 and bottled on the 16 of March 2020, with a final age of 10 years.
The dram serves up notes of figs, stewed plums, dried fruits, cherry, toasted nuts, dark chocolate, tobacco smoke, honey, toffee’d malt, redcurrants and dark oak.
Full and well sherried, this dram benefits from its 46% ABV strength, and its lack of chill filtration or colouration.
Delightfully sherried and rich, this is a top quality release from Signatory and Edradour.
