Edradour have long been known for producing some glorious and interesting cask finished single malt whisky. This is an example of one of these wonderful whiskies from the smallest distillery in Scotland. This whisky was aged for 10 years in a single former Madiera sweet wine cask. The spirit was distilled in May 2006 and left to age until March 2017. The maturation process has produced a whisky of rare flavour. This whisky is rich in dried citrus, rich malt, nuts and oak. Forming a part of Edradour’s celebrated Straight From The Cask range, this whisky is bottled at a natural cask strength of 59.9% ABV. It is also presented without either chill filtration or artificial colouration, as close as you can get to drinking, Straight From The Cask! Being a single cask whisky, only 447 decanter style bottles of this whisky were produced, each coming with a charming wooden presentation box.
