A limited edition, small batch Ballechin from Edradour distillery.

Aged for 15 years in a combination of First Fill Bourbon Barrels and Second Fill Oloroso, this is the second release in this series.

Ballechin is the name given to Edradour’s peated spirit, taken from a historic distillery in the region that made a similar style.

This dram is super-peaty, with no less than 50ppm of phenols in the spirit. Expect notes, ash, smoked meat, iodine, vanilla, peppery spice, cinnamon, nuts, a slight vegetal edge, candied fruit, plums and dark oak.

Bottled at a cask strength of 58.95% ABV, this is a top notch whisky.
