A mini bottle from one of Scotland’s smallest distilleries, this is from Edradour’s heavily peated range. Ballechin is named after the now silent distillery that sits close to the Edradour site. This lovely highland malt is matured in a combination of ex-Oloroso Sherry casks and ex-bourbon casks, lending vanilla and fruit to the peat-smoke that fills the palate. Released at 46%, without chill filtration or any additional colour, this miniature offers an excellent opportunity for those a little unsure about peated highlanders to try before you buy!
