Quite possibly the most highly regarded series from any one distillery ever, the Family Casks from Glenfarclas never fail to impress with their superb, single vintage, single cask whisky.

This particular bottling is an absolute beauty. Distilled on the 5th of June 1974, the whisky was matured in a single Sherry Butt (number 5786) for 32 years, having been bottled on 28th of February 2007.

This Family Cask offers dense, chewy sherried notes of dried fruits, dark chocolate, cinnamon, oak panelling, crème brulee, oily nuts, leather, toffee apple, nutmeg and all spice.

As ever with the Glenfarclas Family Cask series, this whisky is bottled without colouring or chill filtration, and at cask strength, in this cask 60.8% ABV.
