Edradour 12 Year Old 2011 Pedro Ximénez (Cask #91)

This 2011 vintage dram has been aged for 12 years in a single Pedro Ximenez sherry casks. Pedro Ximenez, or PX, is known as one of the sweetest styles of sherry – perfect for imparting delicious fruity flavours to single malt whisky.

This whisky serves flavours of prunes in syrup, jammy red berries, sultanas, fruit cake, walnuts, almonds, cinnamon, fresh coffee, dark chocolate, black pepper, cranberries, some slight herbs, burnt brown sugar, old oak and nutmeg.

Bottled at a cask strength of 56.9% ABV, this is a full bodied and warming whisky.
