Another of Edradour’s beautiful Ibisco Decanter bottlings.
This dram was distilled on the 3rd of October 2007, and bottled on the 28th of October 2019, having been aged in a single Sherry cask for 12 years.
The final result is a rich, sherried whisky that delivers flavours of red berries, apples, figs, plums, dark chocolate, some slight rancio and funky oak, peppery spice, cinnamon, cloves and orange rind.
The spirit is presented at a punchy cask strength of 57.4% ABV, and without either chill filtration or colouration, ensuring a full mouthfeel and intense flavour profile.
