A wonderful, well-sherried small batch bottling of Edradour from the fine folk at Signatory Vintage.

This single malt whisky has been aged for ten years in first fill Oloroso Sherry butts, and is the product of four casks, numbers 281 to 284.

As you might expect, this is a very rich and flavoursome dram, with notes of dark plums, cherries, prunes, cloves, old leather, tobacco leaf, chocolate covered raisins, some earthy oak, vanilla, ginger and a hit of mushroomy umami.

A very old school Sherry style of Scotch whisky, this dram is a welcome blast from the past.

Bottled at 46% and without chill-filtration, this Edradour is a satisfying, warming and luscious whisky.
