A well-sherried bottling of Edradour from Signatory Vintage.
Signatory maintain their headquarters at Edradour, as they are owners of the distillery, and therefore have the pick of the very finest barrels in the Highland distillery’s reserves.
This is a 10 year old bottling, having been distilled on the 21st of January 2008 and bottled on the 6th September 2018, and drawn from just one sherry butt (number 13).
The whisky offers up notes of typical Highland sherried spice and dried fruits, with plenty of dessert wine sweetness and warming malty notes of biscuit and toffee, alongside a little cinnamon, citrus rind, almond and vanilla.
Bottled at 46% ABV, and without chill filtration or colouration, this is a satisfying and full-bodied dram that will appeal to sherry bomb fans.
Just 687 bottles were produced.
