Released in 2013 as part of Diageo’s Distiller’s Edition range, this Caol Ila was distilled in 2001 and matured in American oak casks until being transferred in to Moscatel wine casks for a finishing period. A lovely expressions of Caol Ila, where you can clearly taste the influence of the casks without it being overbearing.
