A special edition bottling of Talisker created as part of Diageo’s Game of Thrones series.

This super popular range has been produced in collaboration with HBO, as a celebration of the final series of Game of Thrones, which aired in 2019.

House Greyjoy are one of the most important political movers in the series. Found on the Iron Islands, the sea influences everything they do – from leadership, to economy, to religion. A stoic and somewhat reclusive people, when they do leave their islands, they pay the Iron Price for what they desire and their Iron fleet can be devastating.

Similarly, Talisker’s spirit is heavily influenced by the sea that surrounds its island home, on Skye. Talisker has a typically maritime style, with notes of sea spray and funky, coastal peat.

This particular bottling has been aged in heavily charred, former Bourbon barrels and is a perfect demonstration of the Talisker house style. The dram delivers notes of white pepper, salted caramel, spicy smoke, dark chocolate, slight chili, thick maritime peat, a touch of seaweed, charred peach and dried fruits.

A fitting tribute to the Greyjoy House, and possibly the best label design in the Game of Thrones Diageo series.
