An excellent value 5 year old rum, produced by Caribbean Spirits Panama.

This rum continues to be produced from a recipe established by Sr. Malecon, the Master Distiller, when he came over from Cuba.

A molasses based rum, this spirit has been aged for 5 years, to give it a little more maturity and a rounded character. Drinkers should expect a bright sweetness, chewy vanilla and slight oakiness to this rum.

With 5 years on the clock, this is complex enough to drink over a little ice, but it really shines in cocktails, adding a depth of flavour.
