Batch B1/18 of Redbreast’s much admired 12 year Cask Strength offering.

Made from a mixture of unmalted and malted barley, and distilled in a single pot still, this is a richly sherried Irish whiskey.

The bottling offers flavours of cedarwood, almond, caramelized apple, malt, clove, cinnamon, orange peels, sherry, dried fruit, toasted walnut, dark chocolate, vanilla, plums, prunes and cloves.

Bottled at a robust cask strength of 56.2% ABV, this only serves to bolster the whisky’s rich, sherried flavours.

Redbreast once again show why they are one of our favourite Irish producers, with another superb single pot still bottling.
