Another batch of Redbreast’s 12 Year Old Cask Strength whiskey, one of the most highly anticipated releases of the Irish whiskey calendar. This is the second batch of 2019, and the label has been given a little rejig from previous releases.

A classic single pot still whiskey, the spirit has been aged in a combination of former Bourbon and ex-sherry casks for 12 years, developing fantastic depth and complexity.

The dram offers up notes of fresh bread, plums, apricots, figs, sultanas, orange peel, shredded apple, sherry, toffee, pineapple, mango, tangy ginger, coconut, vanilla, almond and dark oak.

Bottled at cask strength of 55.8% ABV, and without chill filtration or colouration, this is a rich, natural Irish pot still whiskey.
