Another batch of Redbreast 12 Year Old Cask Strength, one of the most eagerly awaited releases on the Irish whiskey calendar.

An excellent example of the single pot still style, this whisky has been matured in high quality first fill Oloroso sherry casks.

The dram opens up with tonnes of dried fruit flavours – dried apricot, prunes, sultanas and currant buns, accompanied by dark honey, sherry, old oak, bright grassy grain, tobacco smoke, cinnamon, almonds, cloves, orange rind, creamy vanilla and wine-poached pears.

Bottled at a robust cask strength of 54.6% ABV, this is another in a long line of superb cask strength Redbreasts.
