Released in August of 2015, Oban Little bay is the most recent addition to their range, which really only consist of one whisky (not counting limited editions and special releases), the 14 year old. So, naturally, this is a very Welcome addition! This expressions is finished in small casks – perhaps, quarter casks? We’re not sure. In comparison to the 14 year old, the Little Bay is slightly sweeter, fruitier, and more complex – It can certainly hold its own. It even comes in a 1 liter bottle! We’re certainly impressed.
