This powerfully flavoured creme de cassis from Nusbaumer begins with the distillery’s Cassis eau-de-vie, or the spirit of the blackcurrant berry.

To this, further blackcurrant berries are infused, creating a ‘supreme’ or ‘double’ creme de cassis.

The result is a liqueur with notes of blackcurrant jam and cordial, blackberries, white sugar, almonds, a little subtle spice, dried blackcurrants and bittersweet berries.

Excellent served over ice or mixed into cocktails.
