Another bottling in the long list of superb independently bottled sherry cask Mortlachs. This single malt was bottled by Signatory Vintage as part of their Cask Strength range.

This whisky matured for 15 years in total, with a 21 month finish in a fresh sherry butt, injecting the spirit with tonnes of fruit and spice flavours.

The dram offers flavours of leather furniture, sandalwood, thick chewy malt, prunes in syrup, marmalade, cinnamon, brown sugar, brazil nuts and hazelnuts, sticky date pudding and freshly cracked black pepper.

Presented at a robust 51.8% ABV, just 687 bottles were produced.
