Another superb dram in the Gordan & MacPhail Distillery Labels series, this time from the ‘Beast of Dufftown’, Mortlach.

Aged for 15 years, with some signs of sherry cask maturation, the result is a meaty, rich and decadent dram.

This whisky offers notes of baked fruits, spice, barley, malt, stewed berries, cinnamon, leather, raisins, vanilla, toffee, a little wood smoke and dark chocolate.

Very impressive, with a beautifully retro label.
