The Laphroaig Brodir is a new European travel retail exclusive, which in many ways resemble 2013’s Laphroaig Cairdeas, which was also finished in Port wood. The Brodir’s initial maturation occurs in traditional ex-bourbon casks, it is then transferred to European oak casks that has been seasoned with port. The Brodir is bottled at 48% with no chill-filtration.

“Brodir” meaning “brother” in ancient Norse, celebrates Scotland’s long standing connection with the Nordic region and culture.
