A liqueur from the masterful Joseph Carton house, that will appeal to the tea lovers out there.
This bottling is made with the whole, young leaves of the Lapsang Souchong tea variety known for its smoky flavour. A small quantity of jasmine flowers have been added to the spruce-smoked and dried tea leaves.
The result is a somewhat tannic and smoky liqueur, with notes of black tea, woodsmoke, cured meat, subtle flowers, brown sugar and citrus rind.
An interesting addition to all manner of cocktails, this is an intriguingly delicious liqueur.
