A high quality cherry liqueur produced by the French distiller Joseph Cartron. Cartron is found in the Burgundy area of France, much better known for producing wine than liqueurs, though Cartron has bene operational since 1882.

This crème de cerise is made with two different kinds of cherry: Montmorency, a sharp and tart cherry makes up one third of the cherries used, whilst Chalonnaise, a dark, fruity and sweet cherry provides the remaining two thirds.

Perfectly balanced, fruity and fragrant, this cherry liqueur is perfect for making cocktails such as the Singapore Sling or Blood and Sand. It is also pretty delicious subbed in for crème de mûre in a Bramble, or simply served over ice.
