Another in the trio that makes up the Whiskey Makers series, an excellent collection of whiskey from Jameson. Cooper’s Croze celebrates the vital role that coopers play in creating whiskey. Of course, the cooper in question with this bottling is Ger Buckley, the Head Cooper at Jameson. The croze is the tool that coopers use to create the groove that the head and tail of the barrel are fitted into. The whiskey has been designed so it prioritises the cask flavours, with fabulous fresh oaky notes, hints of white chocolate and tropical fruits. A lovely dram, bottled without chill-filtration.
