A revamp of the much loved Crested Ten. The Crested Ten went back to 1963, and (despite the slight change of name) is Jameson’s longest running brand.
Despite the old name, this is not a ten year old whiskey (which is perhaps what prompted the name change) rather, this is a blend of 7-8 year old whiskies. The blend is produced using a ratio of 60% pot still whiskey to 40% grain.
This has produced a luscious and delicious whiskey, with plenty of classic Irish pot still character, bright fruits, spices, milk chocolate, light sherry influence and bananas.
A wonderful whiskey from this famous distillery, that really rewards patient sipping.
Simply the best of all Jamo’s
best Jameson I've tasted! Unbelievably smooth
