A Solera-vat matured single malt whisky from Glenfiddich.

Taking its inspiration from Sherry production, this whisky has been partly aged in a huge solera vat. Only half the whisky is removed for bottling at any one time, meaning the vat never runs dry and the whisky has a great consistency of flavour.

This whisky has been initially aged in a combination of Bourbon and wine casks prior to marrying in the vat.

The end result is a luscious, floral whisky with notes of honeysuckle, grape blossom, classic Glenfiddich green apples, sweet green grapes, vanilla, sweet oak, toffee, ground pepper, cream and white chocolate.

An interesting take on the traditional Glenfiddich character - this a typically mellow and delicate single malt.
