An exciting new bottling from iconic and super popular Speyside distillery Glenfiddich! This is the second in the distillery’s experimental series. XX refers to the 20 different opinions used to create this whisky.

A top secret endeavour, Glenfiddich Project XX was created by 20 different whisky experts, who were invited to the distillery to each choose their own cask from the many thousands in the Glenfiddich warehouses. Each of these 20 barrels would eventually be used in a vatted malt overseen by Master Malt expert Brian Kinsman. Casks as varied as virgin oak barrels and port pipes were used to create this complex and intriguing single malt whisky.

Drinkers should expect classic “fiddich notes of green apple, English summer berries, hay, sweet malt and toffee, alongside some tannic wine notes, pressed flowers and bright vanilla.

Bottled at 47% ABV, this is a great chance to try Glenfiddich at a higher proof than normal, which really allows the flavours to take hold. This whisky is non chill filtered, and non age stated.

Glenfiddich suggest serving this dram with a sea-salt encrusted glass, a small change that allows you to see the whisky in a slightly different way.
