A single cask dram from Glenfarclas’s beloved Family Cask series.
This 1991 vintage was matured in a single sherry butt before being bottled in June 2021, as part of the 2021 outturn of Family Casks. The whisky is about 30 years old.
The final product is a dram with notes of concentrated plums, cherries and strawberries, bittersweet citrus rind, tannins, vanilla, malt loaf, toffee, chocolate, leather, pepper, blackcurrant and charred oak.
Bottled at a cask strength of 55.3% ABV, just 558 bottles were produced.
