A simply fabulous gin from the exciting new Glendalough distillery in Ireland. Glendalough have produced a series of seasonal gins, which are made with botanicals local to the distillery and available with the season. This ensures that the distillery is environmentally conscious and gives a taste of its surroundings. This particular batch was made in the autumn, using the seasonal botanicals of meadowsweet, clover flowers, nettle watermint, heather, ground ivy, rosemary, rosehip, blackberries, sloe berries, crab apples and elderberries. The result is a fruity, floral gin, with a good herbal edge. A wonderful option for a gin and tonic as the leaves begin to turn brown.
