A very special version of Filliers’ 28 gin, made in homage to the Filliers Family.
The recipe for this bottling dates back to 1928, when the third generation of Filliers distiller, Firmin Filliers, operated the distillery.
Firmin also developed the original recipe of this gin, which contains 28 different botanicals, including: angelica, hops, orange, lavender and juniper.
The result is a gin that offers notes of sweet malt, fragrant flowers, drying juniper, earthy spice, green herbs, citrus rind and hoppy belgian beer.
This bottle and label design recalls the original 1928 apothecary bottle, which Firmin acquired through a cousin who worked in pharmacies, as glass was expensive at the time.
