Another addition to Edradour’s delicious, and beautifully presented, Ibsico Decanter series.

This single malt whisky was distilled at the Highland distillery in December 2008, and matured in sherry casks until January 2021, with a final age of 12 years.

The whisky delivers notes of rum and raisin ice cream, warming oak spice, vanilla, plums, figs, nuts, supple dried oak, a little fresh grape and red wine tannins.

Bottled at 57.8%, this is a full bodied and robust dram that does not lack in warmth.

Just 659 “decanters” were produced, each as handsome as one another.
