A very interesting rum from Dictador! Like the Amber expression of the 100 month range, this rum has been matured in ex-bourbon casks for a little over 8 years. Then comes the twist – it is filtered through another of Colombia’s great products: Arabica Coffee beans! This gives the already rich and sweet rum a fantastic aromatic quality, rich with sharp espresso flavours and chocolaty spice. A wonderfully eccentric rum to try by itself, Dictador Cafe would also make an incredible espresso martini.
