A nicely sherried, and organic, whisky from Highland distillery Deanston.

A 2002 vintage, this whisky has been aged in recharred organic Bourbon barrels for 14 years, before a further 2 year maturation in Robles (the only fully organic sherry house) Oloroso casks.

This dram offers up rich, toffee’d flavours of sweet malt, corn, butter, vanilla, dried fruits, spice, raisins, dark chocolate, leather, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, orange rind, dark oak, honey and figs.

An exquisite dram, perfect for a winter’s night. The bottling is presented at 50.6% ABV and without chill filtration or artificial colouration.

A fine example of what a good sherry cask can do to a whisky.
