A delicious and incredibly intense Caol Ila bottled by Signatory Vintage for their esteemed Cask Strength series.

Distilled on the 22nd September 2010 and bottled on the 10th of February 2020, this whisky spent 9 years maturing in a refill sherry butt.

The result is a gloriously rich and smoky dram, packed with notes of grassy peat, dried fruits, plums, burnt malt, cinnamon, dark chocolate, toasted nuts, leather, dark oak, cinnamon, ash, sea spray, caramelised lemons and bitter orange peel.

A wonderful combination of Caol Ila’s grassy, maritime peat and delicious spicy-sweet sherry. The spirit is bottled at a fearsome 60.1% ABV and without chill filtration or colouration, offering an intense drinking experience.

Only 673 bottles were produced.
