Part of the storied Connoisseurs Choice range, this dram is a 2004 vintage, having been bottled on the 23rd of January 2020, following 15 years of maturation in a single refill sherry butt.

The result is a well balanced dram that displays all of Caol Ila’s hallmarks alongside the subtle strength, spice and sweetness of the sherry cask. Drinkers can expect notes of grassy peat, gentle stewed plums, vanilla, apples, crunchy malt, toffee, black pepper, orange rind, cloves, dark chocolate, salted caramel and oak.

Bottled at a fiery 58.9% ABV and without chill filtration or colouration, this a satisfying, natural dram.

Just 535 bottles were produced.
