Staoisha is one of the names given to heavily peated spirit from Bunnahabhain. This dram has been bottled by Dutch independent bottlers The Ultimate Whisky Company.

Bunnahabhain is better known for its unpeated spirit, but still turns out a very high quality peated whisky.

This dram was distilled on the 6th of September 2013, and bottled on the 4th of April 2019, having spent five years in a single Hogshead.

The result is a feisty, powerfully smoked whisky that offers up flavours of apples, bananas, sea salt, oak, melons, grapefruit, orange rind, cinnamon, pineapples, a little iodine and toffee.

This dram is bottled at a scorching cask strength of 64.3% ABV, and without chill filtration or colouration, resulting in a luscious, intense whisky.

Just 317 bottles were produced.
