A lovely little 10 year old Bunnahabhain forming part of Gordon & MacPhail’s newly revamped Discovery series.

As part of the redesign, G&M have colour coded their bottles according to three broad flavour profiles: ‘Smoky’, ‘Sherry’ and ‘Bourbon’. This bottling of peated Bunnahabhain falls into the first category – which is not always a guarantee from this Islay distillery.

The whisky offers up notes of sweet toffee, lemon zest, lime, burnt wood, rich peat smoke, sea spray, vanilla, chocolate, liquorice and slight white peach.

Bottled at 43% ABV, this whisky is both non chill filtered and natural in colour, offering an excellent representation of Bunna’s spirit.
