A single barrel release of one of Islay’s oldest distilleries, Bowmore. This whisky has been picked out by esteemed independent bottlers Càrn Mòr.

Aged for 23 years in a single Hogshead, the spirit has developed an incredible complexity and depth.

This long maturation has tempered the peat smoke somewhat, giving this spirit a gentle, fiery smoke, but not the intense pungency of younger peated whiskies. Flavours of dried fruits, spice, vanilla custard, apricot, leather, iodine, chocolate, coffee, mango, cinnamon, old oak, caramel, apple and charcoal.

Bottled at a cask strength of 56.6% ABV and without chill filtration or colouration, this is a powerful and flavoursome drinking experience.

Just 150 bottles were produced.
