From the Benriach distillery’s wood finish series, this is a 15 year old single malt aged initially in traditional American ex-bourbon barrels, and then finished in sauternes casks. These sauternes casks are sourced from the Bourdeaux region of France.

Benriach has well and truly mastered to craft of cask “finishing”, which become even more apparent with this expression where you are clearly able to discern the distinct character of the Sauternes wine.
