Rosé Vermouths are a growing trend, and this bottling from German outfit Belsazar is an excellent addition.

Made on a base of Pinot Noir from organic vineyards, this bottling uses raspberry liqueur to fortify.

Botanicals include two different wormwoods, alongside orris root, lemon peel, white pepper, raspberries and peppermint.

The final result is a sweet, juicy and refreshing vermouth with notes of strawberry, raspberry, liqourice, citrus and peppery spice.

A summery drink that some bartenders have used in place of Aperol, to create thirst-quenching Spritz’s.

This also pairs superbly with rose lemonade or tonic.
