The first release of Balblair’s 2005 vintage, which replaces the much-loved 2003 bottling.

Aged in former Bourbon barrels until 2018, giving it a rough age of about 13 years, this maturation makes for a well balanced whisky that accurately presents the Balblair house style.

Citrussy and sharp, this whisky offers flavours of grapefruit, lemon sherbet, orange blossom, vanilla, almonds, heather, pineapple, zest, apples, almonds, malt and pastry.

Bottled at 46% ABV, and without chill filtration or colouration, this is a buttery, satisfying dram.

An excellent entry point into Balblair’s range.
