Released in December 2015, this 2001 vintage of anCnoc continues the distillery’s tradition of always having one of these “younger” bottlings available. Having enjoyed a lengthy maturation in both American and Spanish oak casks, this whisky is a brilliant combination of the classic, light, lemon-y and vanilla-rich American oak matured Knockdhu, and the dried fruits and spices imparted from the Spanish oak casks. True to the distillery’s great philosophy, this whisky was bottled at a solid strength of 46% without the use of chill-filtration or colouring.
