This limited edition bottling is the first whisky made in India to feature a Madeira cask finish.
Amrut have aged this whisky first in former Bourbon casks, before giving it a long finishing process in Madeira casks, specially source from family-run cooperages in Portugal and Spain.
The result is a jammy, sweet and delicious whisky packed with notes of citrus, apricot, sweet wine, toffee, grapefruit, coconut, almonds, stewed apples, oak, toasted spice, vanilla, malt, dark chocolate and flowers.
Bottled at a generous 50% ABV, this is an intense and delicious dram.
Just 4,800 bottles were released worldwide.
