The 16th bottling in Woodford Reserve’s now flagship premium range, Master’s Collection.
Very Fine Rare Bourbon is a high quality, well-matured Kentucky straight whiskey, containing spirit as old as 17 years. Indeed, some have said this is Woodford’s oldest ever whiskey.
This whiskey is made to a mashbill of 72% corn, 18% rye and 10% malted barley, and has been overseen by Master Distiller, Chris Morris and Assistant Master Distiller, Elizabeth McCall.
The final product is a richly flavoured Bourbon, with notes of old oak, dark toffee, fruit jelly, hazelnuts in chocolate, liquorice, root beer, ginger, coffee bean, cinnamon, toasted rye bread and caramelised red apple.
A whiskey that lives up to its title.
