A wonderful big bottle of spicy Wild Turkey 101 Proof Rye whiskey! Wild Turkey are one of the most dependable whiskey companies in America, and this upholds that well-earned reputation. Not only is this tremendous when served straight, it is one of the most versatile whiskies around for mixing. Particularly it adds depth and power to Manhattans and Old Fashioneds. On the nose, this whiskey has aromas of crisp spice: chili, cloves, cinnamon, vanilla, and nutmeg. Herbaceous notes of dill and menthol arrive after a while, followed by a few floral aromas and some creamy caramel ice cream. The palate is rich, intense and powerful, with charred cask flavours, a little creamy vanilla, some sweet corn, smoked herbs and cracking caramel. The finish is incredibly spicy, and long, with rich lasting vanilla. Bottled at a warming 50.5% ABV, this is an extraordinary rye of the highest quality.
