A double distilled Irish single malt from Tyrconnell, distilled at the Cooley distillery.
This whiskey is named after a chestnut racehorse that won at 100 to 1 odds in 1876. The horse was in turn named after an area of County Donegal.
Very drinkable and creamy, this single malt offers notes of apple, pear, white peach, flowers, malt, banana, cream, honey, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla and white grape.
A great Irish daily drinker.
